Role Description
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in video processing to join our Platform team. In this role, you’ll design, implement, and optimise high-performance video pipelines that power our AI-driven safety platform.
- Develop video encoding workflows
- Integrate processing frameworks like GStreamer
- Ensure real-time performance across the infrastructure
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of C++
- Hands-on experience with GStreamer and computer vision applications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with video processing frameworks and tools (e.g., GStreamer, FFmpeg)
- Knowledge of encoding and decoding algorithms (e.g., H.264, H.265, MJPEG) and streaming protocols
- Proven ability to optimise video systems for real-time performance and scalability
