Role Description
This role involves supporting public health and public safety IT solutions projects requiring a significant amount of test automation and custom product configuration.
- Designing and developing cloud-native applications and web applications using Java and other web technologies.
- Designing applications using Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices Architecture, Serverless architecture, and N-tier architecture.
- Developing applications using Object Oriented Analysis and reusable Design patterns.
- Developing application database in a RDBMS and including tuning SQL queries with complex business logic.
- Performing peer-review of developers code, unit testing, functional testing, and deploying code to production environment.
- Debugging production issues and implementing fixes in the system.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Systems Security or a closely-related IT field.
- 5 years’ experience in a Software Engineer/Developer role implementing and analyzing software solutions.
Requirements
- 5 years’ experience using Java to design and implement cloud-native applications.
- Designing applications using Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices Architecture, Serverless architecture, and N-tier architecture.
- Utilizing Groovy, Jhipster, and Flowable.
- Writing efficient SQL queries with complex business logic in SQL Server or Oracle.
- Analyzing user requirements and converting that into software design and solutions.
- Working with SCRUM and AGILE methodologies.
- 3 years’ experience in Utilizing J2EE, Spring, Maven, and Hibernate.
