Role Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Android AOSP Developer with 5-8 years of experience to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C++ development in a Linux/Ubuntu environment and a deep understanding of the Android Open Source Project (AOSP). This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software products that align with business and customer needs.
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C++ and other required programming languages.
- Work with Android AOSP code base to customize and enhance Android system components.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to meet customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain software systems, components, and libraries in a Linux/Ubuntu environment.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely and budget-friendly software delivery.
- Participate in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting software applications.
- Provide support to the quality assurance team when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- 5+ years of experience in software development using C++ in a Linux/Ubuntu environment.
- Hands-on experience with AOSP (Android Open Source Project) and its customization.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
- Proficiency in multi-threaded and multi-process programming.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.
Requirements
- Experience with TCP/IP networking and protocols.
- Knowledge of high-performance, high-availability server software.
- Understanding of H.264 video encoding/decoding.
- Experience in Android, iOS, or Linux client-side app development (C++).
