Role Description
We need someone to take charge of the day-to-day operations of our new website. Allica is growing extremely quickly, launching ever more products in a highly regulated environment, and we need a safe pair of hands that can handle all aspects of website publishing, upgrades and maintenance.
- Oversee daily operations of Allica's public website, ensuring it looks great, works well, and internal stakeholders are satisfied.
- Regularly publish website changes, such as new interest rates, legal updates, and other requests from marketing, brand, product, HR, etc.
- Manage phase 2 of our new website, migrating the rest of our webpages and blog from our old CMS theme to our new CMS theme in Hubspot.
- Manage projects, e.g., launching a new online fraud centre, testing a new accessibility toolbar on the website menu, or integrating a third-party recruitment system to our careers page.
- Co-own our blog alongside the Growth team and handle all publishing and on-page/technical SEO improvements.
- Direct our web development agency and internal design resources.
- Own and enforce the content checking/sign-off process to maintain high professional standards and an audit trail while moving fast.
- Be the proactive guardian of Allica's website, fixing content errors, design issues, and bugs on multiple browsers/screens.
Qualifications
- Highly organized with in-depth, hands-on experience of website publishing using a CMS.
- Flair for marketing and effective project management.
- Comfortable using HTML and CSS in a CMS environment.
- Good ideas and effective communication skills.
- Experience with design, UX, A/B testing, SEO, and accessibility highly valued.
- Attention to detail.
- Experience in the (UK) financial sector is a bonus.
Requirements
- Experience with Hubspot CMS is highly valued but not essential.
- Ability to coordinate people and keep multiple projects on track.
- Organized and diligent, making website updates stress-free for all.
- Able to manage designers and development agencies.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities.
