Role Description
Landbot is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to join us in our mission to empower businesses to create frictionless experiences for their customers by democratizing access to technology and knowledge.
- Work in a team of engineers, designers, and PMs with diverse backgrounds.
- Influence the future of technology at Landbot by solving challenging technical problems.
- Own your products end-to-end and architect applications from the ground up.
- Contribute to Landbot engineering’s culture of technical excellence through inclusivity, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.
Qualifications
- Experience working in rapid product development building responsive web pages using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript with recent experience in ES6.
- Skill in applying good practices and Functional Programming principles in software development.
- Experience working with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Experience working with APIs and sockets.
- Ability to lead and influence architectural designs across the stack.
- Pragmatic programmer who understands how to balance quality, time to ship, and cost.
- Enjoy mentoring and teaching colleagues at all levels while also learning from them.
- Holistic approach to quality and a growth mindset towards feedback and challenges.
Requirements
- Extensive use of React with Typescript for building components.
- Proficiency in Python, Django, and MySQL.
- Experience with Google Cloud.
Bonus Points
- Experience building End to End tests with Cypress or other similar tools.
- Experience building and maintaining APIs in Node.js.
- Awareness and application of SOLID principles in software development.
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java, .NET, or Python.
- Experience with the Django web framework.
- Experience with MySQL.
- Experience working with Hexagonal architecture.
- A strong portfolio on Github that displays your passion for delighting users.
- Previous experience working with a large engineering team on a complex web application.
Hiring Process
- HR + Hiring Manager - We know each other, validate details and experience, and tell you more about Landbot (30min).
- Technical Exercise - A code challenge to showcase your knowledge and use of good practices (1 week).
- Technical Interview - Discuss your technical skills regarding the code challenge and architectural design (120min).
- Meet the CEO (15 min).
