Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Mid or Senior Developer to join our team in building a modern API for an eCommerce platform. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality backend services using Symfony and PHP, with a strong focus on modular service architecture and seamless API integration. The solution must be scalable and capable of handling high traffic.
- Develop RESTful APIs services
- Design services following the principles of bounded contexts
- Develop high-level solutions using hexagonal architecture within a modular-monolith structure
- Create and maintain API documentation
- Quality check (Code Review)
- Optimize applications for performance and scalability
- Cooperation with the QA, Frontend, UI&UX teams
- Taking care of application security, from design to implementation
- Write automated tests to ensure the reliability and quality
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in web development
- Proven expertise in developing RESTful APIs
- Strong understanding of business needs and technical solutions
- Knowledge of databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with message queues (e.g., AMQP, SQS)
- Adept at implementing and using cache systems
- Thorough knowledge of PHP and the Symfony framework
- Skilled in PHPUnit
- Ability to create clear, effective documentation using Swagger and OpenAPI
- Practical experience with Docker and containerization
- Comfortable with static analysis tools for code quality
- Application of architectural principles like SOLID, KISS, DRY, and other best practices
- Solid understanding of Unix systems
Requirements
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP)
- Domain-Driven Design and CQRS
- CI / CD experience
- OneTrust, Synerise integrations
