Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Director to lead our financial operations. This role is perfect for a results-oriented and analytical leader who can optimize financial processes, ensure compliance, and drive financial growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial management, reporting, and strategic planning, preferably in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team, influencing business decisions and driving financial performance.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, while mitigating financial risks.
- Process Optimization: Streamline and automate financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Revenue Management: Oversee revenue recognition, credit control, and debt collection.
- Cost Management: Manage payroll, project costs, overhead expenses, and implement cost optimization strategies.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor bank accounts, cash flows, and banking products. Oversee cash flow planning and ensure liquidity.
- Reporting: Prepare management reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Analyze project profitability and provide financial dashboards.
- Accounting & Taxation: Manage relationships with accounting and tax firms. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and optimize tax strategies.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of overall financial experience, including 5+ years of experience in a senior finance role in the IT industry
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations
- Proven experience in revenue forecasting and budgeting
- Experience in managing and optimizing financial processes
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Fluent both Polish and English
