Role Description
In your new role as our Financial Analyst with Entegra, you will serve as a key partner overseeing all business performance with Entegra. This includes:
- Financial Planning and Analysis, forecasting processes, and special projects as needed.
- Fostering deep integration with business, providing forward-looking insights, and enhancing overall business acumen within the organization.
- Delivering actionable insights and proactive problem-solving support to address broad complex operational and client-related challenges.
- Acting as a bridge between finance and operations, empowering cross-functional teams with data-driven insights that facilitate informed decision-making and agile responses to market changes.
- Supporting in building a strong, collaborative team that is equipped to meet the organization’s evolving needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing full-cycle segment support, bridging sales and operations in their assigned segment(s) – forecasting, budgeting, problem-solving, variance reporting.
- Providing forward-looking insights that guide strategic decision-making and anticipate future trends.
- Conducting comprehensive financial analysis, raising key insights and preparing presentations to support leadership in evaluating business initiatives and decisions.
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts, ensuring alignment with financial and operational priorities.
- Ensuring segment adherence to contract terms and governance, identifying and implementing optimization opportunities to enhance outcomes.
- Proactively monitoring financial risks and opportunities, making recommendations, and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Leveraging global Entegra/Sodexo tools, AI, and other technologies to build a culture of data-driven insights that facilitates informed decision-making and agile responses to market changes.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education (college or university) in Business, Finance, or Accounting. Chartered Public Accountant (CPA) designation is an asset. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Proven track record in similar roles for 3 years minimum.
- Strong experience in business partnerships, budgeting, analysis, and costing.
- Assemble dashboards, strong report building skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), Power BI.
- Advanced Excel (VBA, pivot tables, nested formulas).
- Project Management – understanding the problems, solutions, and delivering the communication.
- Excellent critical thinking and time management skills, with the ability to meet established deadlines.
- Strong presentation and influencing skills, with a proactive, challenger mindset.
- Understanding of various contract structures and the financial implications of business decisions.
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to form partnerships with Operational teams.
- Fluent in English required: speaking, writing, reading; Bilingual proficiency (French) may be required and is a very strong asset.
