Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior NestJS Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize backend solutions using NestJS, ensuring scalable, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Design and develop robust APIs and backend systems using NestJS.
- Lead the architectural design of scalable, maintainable, and efficient backend solutions.
- Implement and manage third-party integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow.
- Work with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB), optimizing queries and database performance.
- Maintain high-quality coding standards by conducting code reviews, implementing best practices, and using tools for static analysis and testing.
- Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features.
- Guide and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
- Write and maintain comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability of the codebase.
- Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines to facilitate smooth and efficient deployments.
Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience with NestJS and its ecosystem.
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Proficient in working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
- Experience in creating RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of Git and collaborative workflows.
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and communication patterns (e.g., message queues, gRPC).
Requirements
- 5+ years in software development, with 3+ years working specifically with NestJS.
- Full-time availability.
- Remote work from Pakistan.
