Role Description
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will take ownership of leading the development and optimisation of our user-centric web applications by seamlessly integrating advanced frontend technologies. In particular, you will:
- Design and implement web application components using TypeScript, Vue.js 3, and Vuetify to deliver intuitive user experiences.
- Proactively identify and drive frontend improvements, optimising performance, accessibility, and maintainability of our web applications.
- Manage frontend environments, oversee deployments, and ensure smooth release processes for our web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend, product, business) to align engineering efforts and ensure seamless integration tailored to customer needs.
- Mentor and support Junior Engineers by sharing your expertise and best practices in modern frontend development, including coding patterns, testing strategies, and performance optimisation.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in developing web applications
- Extensive experience with TypeScript and its practical application
- Production-level experience with Vue.js 3 and Vuetify (or comparable CSS frameworks)
- Familiarity with state management tools, such as Pinia
- Experience integrating external services using REST APIs
- Proficiency with modern SCM, build, and release tools (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker)
Requirements
- Proficient in quality assurance using Vitest
- Experience with backend-as-a-service platforms, such as Firebase or Supabase
- Experience with UI and UX Design in Figma
