Role Description

Als Network Analysis & Performance Consultant ben je verantwoordelijk voor het analyseren, optimaliseren en verbeteren van de prestaties van de KPN-netwerken. Je onderzoekt complexe verstoringen, brengt knelpunten in kaart en komt met concrete adviezen om de netwerk- en servicekwaliteit te waarborgen — zowel in bestaande omgevingen als bij de introductie van nieuwe diensten.

Netwerkverkeer, topologie en prestaties analyseren om knelpunten en verstoringen te identificeren.
Root cause analyses uitvoeren en verbetervoorstellen doen.
Ondersteunen bij het oplossen van complexe netwerk-, WiFi-, audio- en videoproblemen.
Nieuwe diensten, netwerkconfiguraties en ontwerpen testen en valideren.
Netwerkprestaties optimaliseren door advies over herinrichting, QoS-maatregelen of hardware-upgrades.
End-to-end ketentesten en Quality of Experience (QoE) metingen uitvoeren.
Grondige VoIP- en audio-analyses uitvoeren, inclusief packet captures en kwaliteitsmetingen.
Productmanagement en IT adviseren over netwerkstrategieën, investeringen en implementaties.

Qualifications

Aantoonbare technische kennis van leverstraten, ketens en netwerkproducten.
Diepgaande kennis van LAN, WAN, WLAN, TCP/IP, VoIP, codecs en audiokwaliteit.
Ervaring met netwerkapparatuur zoals routers, switches en firewalls van leveranciers als Cisco, Juniper en Huawei.
Een afgeronde Bachelor of Master in Informatica, Netwerkbeheer of een vergelijkbare richting.
Relevante certificeringen, zoals CCNP, CCIE of JNCIS.
Kennis van schaalbare netwerken, zowel on-premise als in de cloud (AWS, Azure).
Ervaring met netwerkbeveiliging: VPN, firewalls, IDS/IPS en beveiligingsprotocollen (SSL/TLS, IPsec).
Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden in zowel Nederlands als Engels; je kunt schakelen op verschillende niveaus.
Analytisch, secuur en stressbestendig.

Een bruto maandsalaris van minimaal € 5.038,- en maximaal € 7.575,- afhankelijk van je werkervaring, op basis van 40 uur.
Vaste 13e maand, een deel krijg je maandelijks uitbetaald en een deel in januari van het volgende jaar.
Jaarlijks een individuele en collectieve verhoging conform onze CAO.
€ 1500 per jaar aan inzetbaarheidsbudget dat je naar eigen inzicht mag gebruiken voor bijvoorbeeld trainingen, coaching en cursussen.

Uitstekende pensioenvoorwaarden: een totale inleg van 23% van je pensioengevende salaris waarvan KPN 16% inlegt en jij 7%.
