Role Description
As a Remote Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions that drive business growth and transformation. You will work closely with customers and our internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet or exceed expectations. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your Salesforce expertise and contribute to impactful projects on a global scale.
- Design and develop custom solutions using Salesforce technologies, including Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and more.
- Implement integrations with third-party applications and tools to extend the functionality of Salesforce.
- Utilize your deep understanding of Salesforce best practices to ensure the quality, performance, and scalability of developed solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases, updates, and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
- Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, business analysts, and other developers, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Perform thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve any issues in the developed solutions.
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and stability of Salesforce applications.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, code documentation, and development processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience as a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer, with proficiency in Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and Agile practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug technical issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Administrator, or others are a plus.
- Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and RESTful APIs is beneficial.
- Prior experience in a consulting environment and working with nearshore/offshore teams is a plus.
