Role Description
As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will be crucial in designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust and scalable backend platform. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop high-quality software solutions that meet our client's needs and contribute to the success of their projects.
- Collaborate with the product management and design teams to understand and translate project requirements into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails code.
- Aid in massive restructuring of data schema design.
- Implement new features and enhance existing functionality to meet project objectives.
- Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, best practices, and adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug and optimize application performance to deliver a seamless user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve the development process.
- Work in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
- Solid understanding of the Ruby programming language and the Rails framework.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript React.
- Proficient in relational databases like PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

- Experience: Ruby on Rails: 4 years (Required)
- Experience: PostgreSQL: 1 year (Preferred)
- Experience: APIs: 1 year (Preferred)
