Role Description
The Release Engineer will be responsible for turning ideas and prototypes into products and distributing automation systems that build products for every platform.
- Advising developers on release-related issues
- Diagnosing build and automation issues
- Researching and migrating to new automation systems
- Optimizing automation systems to reduce product build time
- Recognizing cross-platform porting issues
- Configuring and maintaining build machines
- Maintaining the internal documentation for the RE codebase and processes
- Administrating servers
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, IT or a related STEM field
- Experience with Linux, macOS and/or Windows
- Experience with scripting
- Experience with C and C++
- Ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly
- Good research habits
Requirements
- Familiar with Wolfram Language
- Familiar with Python 2.7/3.6
- Familiar with Kotlin
- Familiar with integration tools like Jenkins and TeamCity
- Familiar with Apache Ant
- Strong experience with Git
- Familiar with CVS
Location
Fully remote and seeking candidates from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru.
