Role Description
As the R&D Manager you will lead the development of the company's online casino platform. You will oversee a team of 10-15 members, driving innovation and ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable and high-performing solutions tailored for B2B clients. Your expertise in building and managing casino platforms will be key in shaping the technological backbone of the company's business.
- Lead, manage and mentor a cross-functional team of 10-15 developers (frontend, backend, QA, project managers).
- Oversee the end-to-end development of the casino platform, from concept to deployment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Ensure platform compliance with industry standards and regulations for online gaming.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in software architecture, coding, and testing.
- Identify and implement new technologies to enhance platform functionality and performance.
- Conduct regular code reviews, team performance evaluations, and skill development initiatives.
- Maintain a deep understanding of B2B client needs in the iGaming industry and adapt solutions accordingly.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record (7+ years) in developing online casino platforms, particularly for B2B markets.
- At least 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional development teams of similar size.
- Strong understanding of frontend and backend technologies, including but not limited to:
- Node.js
- Angular or similar frameworks
- Relation DBs (MySQL, PostgreSQL), MongoDB, Redis, Elastic search
- AWS
- DevOps practices - CI/CD, orchestration, monitoring, performance, etc.
- Fluency in Ukrainian/Russian and proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Familiarity with gaming regulations and compliance requirements in key markets.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in developing online casino platforms, particularly within B2B markets.
- 3+ years of leadership experience, managing cross-functional development teams.
- Strong technical background with in-depth knowledge of both frontend and backend technologies.
