Role Description

QCi is seeking a motivated intern to join our Solutions department for a remote summer internship. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects aimed at advancing our portfolio of use case examples for optimization and reservoir devices.

  • Assist in implementing prototype applications under the guidance of the Solutions team.
  • Collect data, conduct experiments and analyze results to support ongoing projects.
  • Write detailed reports summarizing experimental findings and progress.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance the development of optimization and reservoir device use cases.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Skilled in data retrieval and cleansing
  • Proficiency in Python programming, including the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Proficiency in using Python’s numpy package for numerical computing and data manipulation.
  • Experience with script packages to automate tasks and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise reports and documentation.
  • Interest in data science or operations research
  • A portfolio of data visualization examples which convey an aptitude in data analysis
