Role Description
Northcorp Software is seeking a talented and motivated Microsoft Developer to join our growing team. This is a full-time remote position where you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining software solutions leveraging the Microsoft technology stack.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Design, develop, and implement custom applications and solutions using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas Apps, Model-driven Apps, Portals) and related technologies.
- Develop and customize SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts to meet business requirements.
- Design, develop, and manage databases (i.e., SQL Server, Dataverse) to support application functionality and data storage needs.
- Integrate Microsoft solutions with other systems and applications using APIs, connectors, and other integration techniques.
- Utilize and leverage cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, for development, deployment, and hosting of applications.
- Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to understand requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, code comments, and user guides.
- Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft technologies, trends, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Software Development and Programming.
- Significant hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps, including building and deploying Canvas Apps, Model-driven Apps, and potentially Power Pages (Portals).
- Solid experience in developing and customizing solutions on SharePoint, including SharePoint Online.
- Proficiency in working with databases, such as SQL Server, Dataverse, or other relational database systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Requirements
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure (i.e., Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Automate for workflow automation.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (i.e., Power Platform Developer Associate).
