Role Description
We’re seeking a Lead Mobile Software Engineer with expertise in both iOS and Android development to collaborate with technical leads and stakeholders in delivering robust mobile solutions for Mindgrub’s clients. As a Lead Mobile Software Engineer, you will work alongside other project leads to define requirements, design solutions, and implement high-quality mobile applications, reporting to an Engineering Manager or Director.
- Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and solve complex problems.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and deliver greater value to Mindgrub and its clients.
- Actively participate in all aspects of engineering projects, from planning to execution.
- Continuously learn and improve technical skills.
- Maintain awareness of project budgets and timelines.
- Take ownership of project deliverables, ensuring high-quality results.
- Conduct peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure adherence to Mindgrub’s standard processes throughout project lifecycles.
- Interact with clients as needed to provide updates and technical insights.
- Participate in the interview process for new candidates.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, features, and solutions to enhance applications and anticipate future client needs.
- Provide Level of Effort (LOE) estimates for tasks and project requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in mobile development with expertise in both iOS and Android.
- Proficiency in Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android) is required.
- Strong understanding of iOS development, including Xcode and iOS frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Android development, including Android Studio and Gradle.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Requirements
- Remote; 40 hrs / wk; 9am - 5pm Eastern.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Compensation
$120,000 - $130,000 USD. Compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including skills, education, certifications, and overall experience for this role.
