Role Description
This role involves developing and productionising AI systems and ML models specialising in semi-structured textual data.
- Work with highly connected data and exploit relationships in the Beamery Knowledge Graph to build foundational models.
- Build systems that automate the refinement and enrichment of a knowledge base.
- Mentor and coach the data science team.
- Stay current with cutting-edge AI research and proactively apply new approaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and provide data-driven solutions.
Qualifications
- Data science professional with a strong business understanding and a focus on NLP.
- Proven experience leading ML projects across the full lifecycle.
- Comfortable dealing with uncertainty and pre-market product ideas.
- Deep expertise in natural language processing.
- Deep understanding with the new generation of Large Language Models.
- Familiarity with the search and recommendation problem space.
- Experience with Retrieval-Augmented-Generation systems is a plus.
- Strong technical leadership, communication skills, and mentoring experience.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and tools, including ETL pipelines, CI/CD, and testing frameworks.
- Ability to work collaboratively with data scientists, engineers, and non-technical stakeholders.
