Role Description
- Strong problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and other developers to understand project requirements and translate them into high-quality software solutions
- Be responsible for the development and maintenance (corrective and evolutionary) of web applications
- Develop, test, and deploy software solutions using Java and related technologies
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring best practices and high-quality standards are met
- Implement and maintain REST API solutions
- Ensure software security, performance, and scalability
- Write well-structured, efficient, and testable code
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Good communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the IT area or equivalent
- Experience in Java development
- Knowledge of Spring Framework
- Proficiency in Hibernate or Java Persistence API (JPA) for object-relational mapping (ORM)
- Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
- Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit
- Proficiency in using version control systems like Git
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with microservices architecture using Spring Cloud or similar frameworks
- Knowledge of Agile-Scrum methodologies
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
