Full Stack Developer

As a full stack developer you are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web-based applications and data platforms that support research operations. This role involves working across the entire software stack, from front-end user interfaces to back-end databases and APIs, ensuring seamless data integration and workflow automation. This role requires strong expertise in modern programming languages, cloud technologies, and data visualization tools, enabling the company to efficiently collect, analyze, and present market insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, data scientists, and DevOps engineers, to deliver innovative and scalable solutions.
What You'll Do
API & Microservices Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and microservices using JavaScript and Python.
- Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for efficient large-scale data transactions.
- Optimize server-side logic and database interactions to improve response times and system efficiency.
- Develop real-time communication services using WebSockets and message queues.
- Work with authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth, JWT, and API key security.
Cloud Infrastructure & Deployment:
- Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
- Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate services with Kubernetes.
- Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system uptime and performance.
- Enhance system scalability using serverless computing, load balancing, and caching strategies.
- Ensure high availability and fault tolerance through robust system design and testing.
AI & LLM Integration:
- Work with Large Language Models (LLMs), implementing fine-tuning, deployment, and inference optimizations.
- Develop AI-driven features such as chatbots, recommendation systems, or text processing pipelines.
- Optimize LLM performance using vector databases and embedding techniques.
- Implement MLOps practices for AI model deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI model outputs into production applications.
Data Engineering & Optimization:
- Design and maintain ETL pipelines for efficient data processing, cleaning, and transformation.
- Manage and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases for effective data storage and retrieval.
- Develop and maintain data streaming solutions for real-time processing.
- Implement data governance and compliance measures, ensuring data privacy and security best practices.
- Monitor application health, perform root cause analysis, and troubleshoot system issues.
- Implement caching mechanisms to enhance application speed and efficiency.
Performance, Security & Compliance:
- Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security through infrastructure best practices.
- Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations.
- Optimize model performance (speed, accuracy, resource consumption) for real-world usage.
- Continuously analyze and improve system performance, reducing latency and enhancing scalability.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
- Work closely with various team members to develop integrated solutions.
- Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, code reviews, and documentation.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, bringing innovative ideas to the team.
Who You Are
- Knowledge of model deployment tools and platforms (cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, containerization like Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong programming skills (Python, etc.)
- Understanding of security best practice for cloud environments.
- Monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Deep understanding of LLM architectures (Transformer, etc.) and NLP techniques.
- Experience with LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Cohere, Hugging Face) and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- API development and integration experience.
- MLOps principles and tools.
- CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
