Role Description
This role involves working with the Therapist Experience Team at NOCD to provide clinical advising and support for therapists specializing in OCD treatment.
- Conduct individual clinical advising meetings with therapists during their onboarding training, following a structured syllabus to provide instruction in evidence-based treatment for various diagnostic categories:
- Anxiety Disorders
- Depressive Disorders
- Hoarding
- BFRBs and Tic Disorders
- PTSD
- BDD
- Lead a weekly disorder-specific Consultation Group
- Participate in ongoing training and collaboration with expert Specialty Treatment Consultants
- Monitor Slack and email to answer questions about specialty treatment as the primary point of contact
- Join sessions to assist with specialty treatment for challenging presentations
- Provide direct, constructive feedback to therapists in specialty training following clinical advising meetings
- Develop and adjust ongoing curriculum for the clinical advising process
- Participate in weekly advising team meetings
- Work with therapists to ensure excellent specialty treatment outcomes
- Meet regularly with the Director of Clinical Integrity to review specialty treatment outcomes and progress of therapists in specialty training
- Post regularly on LinkedIn and engage in activities to promote NOCD treatment
Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year as a therapist with NOCD
- Demonstrated excellent clinical skills as evidenced by metrics, surveys, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule
- Previous clinical supervision and/or teaching experience preferred, but not required
Requirements
- Clinical hour expectations for the Specialty Clinical Leads will depend upon the training demand for each specialty clinical condition
- Independent Contractors are welcome to apply, but would be asked to move into a Full-Time position if selected for this role
