Role Description

This role involves working with a strong background in our tech stack and contributing to various aspects of product development.

Plan and build product features (code)
Dive into the code; fixing bugs and improving developer experience
Participate in code reviews, learning and spreading technical knowledge
Collaborate with the team to set technical roadmaps that achieve business goals
Provide support to customers; everyone does support
Write prototypes for testable hypotheses
Identify talented candidates and assist in recruiting
Contribute to the community via open source and blog posts
Implement systems to improve developer efficiency and resilience of the platform
Engage in some DevOps work
Ship code

Qualifications

Strong experience with developing in JavaScript, NodeJS, ES6, React, React Native, Redux, GraphQL, and WebPack
Solid understanding of RESTful services
Knowledge of both relational databases and NoSQL databases
Thoughtfulness about product design with good user experience instincts
Strong verbal and written English communication skills

Requirements

AWS Technologies and other cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and Heroku
Knowledge of Firebase
Practical experience with Machine Learning and AI, using tools like TensorFlow and OpenAI

Knowledge about testability and interest in unit testing
