Role Description
This position involves providing complex programming, reporting, integration, and analytical support services for the campus Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

ERP Analyst II:
-
Works as part of a team providing complex programming, reporting, integration, and analytical support services for the ERP system including Salesforce, Ellucian Banner technologies, and other third-party applications.

Provides innovative technology solutions to grow and stabilize the technology platforms along with improving the processes.
-
Conceptualizes design, implements, and develops solutions for systems, programs, or integrations using various programming languages.
-
Defines, documents, and maintains business and technical requirements resulting in technical specifications.
-
Codes, documents, tests, and debugs programs and integrations.
-
Partners with users to design and test all software to ensure it functions efficiently and securely.
-
Responds to, troubleshoots, and repairs issues with software solutions.
-
Implements established timelines to meet the goals of functional areas.
-
Automates processes when possible.
-
Assists with the development of technical training materials and may assist in the technical training of others.
-
Performs other related duties as assigned.

ERP Analyst III:
-
Works as part of a team providing highly complex programming, reporting, integration, and analytical support services for the ERP system.
-
Develops solutions for major system changes or integrations using various programming languages.
-
Determines technical solutions based upon functional/technical requirements.
-
Coordinates with data owners, data custodians, and contracted resources to develop resource needs and prioritization.
-
Partners with users in testing programs and reports; creates related documentation.
-
Leads meetings with internal and external constituents to identify project resource needs.
-
Responds to, troubleshoots, and repairs issues with databases and associated applications.
-
Implements data loading, migrations, conversions, and scheduled job operations.
-
Writes and maintains specifications, and develops timelines to meet the goals of functional areas.
-
Participates in developing standards and procedures for programming staff.
-
Develops and implements processes necessary to refresh or maintain sets of data for testing and development purposes.
-
May train others.
-
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
ERP Analyst II:
-
Bachelor’s degree with a major in computer science, business, or related field from an accredited institution.
-
Two years’ experience in related field or two years of higher education and four years of experience in related field required.
-
History of professional growth as evidenced by the acquisition of professional development and certification.
-
Certification examples include ITIL Foundation, ITIL Intermediate, ITIL Expert, Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt, IIBA, CCBA, PMI CAPM, PMI ACP, or PMP.
-
A combination of education, experience, certifications, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.

ERP Analyst III:

Bachelor’s degree with a major in computer science, business, or related field from an accredited institution.

Three years experience in related field.

Requirements

Other Specifications

Up to 100% of this position, over the fiscal year during off-peak periods, may be performed remotely as determined by the supervisor.
