Role Description
As a Data Engineer & AWS Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing AWS cloud infrastructure while supporting data engineering initiatives.
- Configure and manage AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2, RDS) to support data storage, processing, and infrastructure needs.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure seamless data integration and accessibility.
- Monitor AWS performance and troubleshoot infrastructure or data-related issues.
- Implement cost optimization strategies to manage cloud resources efficiently.
- Support data engineers and analysts by ensuring secure and efficient access to data.
- Apply ETL techniques to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS) and cloud administration best practices.
- Understanding of data integration and ETL techniques.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for automation and data processing.
- Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting AWS environments.
- Ability to optimize cloud costs and resource usage effectively.
