Role Description

Your mission will be the systematic detection and mitigation of threats in an exciting, heterogeneous environment with thousands of systems in Arsys and IONOS. You drive the implementation of proactive and reactive measures to protect our internal infrastructure. You understand the detection and evaluation of security incidents, the subsequent analysis and suggest suitable protective measures.

  • You will work on our security monitoring system (SIEM), including maintenance, updates, monitoring, and all administrative tasks.
  • You will work on our global platform defenses, writing web application firewall rules, testing them, and supporting in resolving false positives.
  • You advise our internal customers on the selection of suitable protective measures, support their implementation, and know how to make them measurable.
  • As part of the team, you will support Arsys Security in their daily tasks and, if needed, play an active role in detecting, triaging, analyzing, and resolving security incidents.

Qualifications

  • In-depth experience in the field of cyber security.
  • Solid hands-on knowledge of cyber security.
  • Good experience in the field of security analysis (detection, analysis, evaluation, mitigation, prevention).
  • Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g., Splunk) and ability to instruct others in their use.
  • Experience in analyzing vulnerabilities in common web applications like Wordpress and its plugins.
  • Ideally, experience with scripting languages such as Python to automate processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, good English skills, quality awareness, personal responsibility, and the ability to work in a team.
