Role Description

As a Surface Specialist, you will act as the Surface sales leader and technical product expert for your assigned accounts. You will drive new revenue growth across the Surface device and accessories portfolio, manage pipeline, and lead with excellence in sales execution. You will orchestrate customer engagements, influence decision makers, and collaborate across Microsoft and partner teams to solve customer challenges and help deliver digital transformation powered by Microsoft Surface and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer sales strategy for complex, high-value opportunities, aligning secure AI and cloud solutions to customer priorities and building trusted relationships with senior decision makers to accelerate transformation, adoption, and business value.
• Develop and execute growth strategies using customer, market, competitive, and whitespace insights to identify new opportunities, differentiate Microsoft solutions, and shape sales plays that advance customer business objectives.
• Lead sales and consumption pipeline performance, leveraging AI-enabled forecasting, usage, renewal, and propensity insights to improve forecast accuracy, accelerate deals, drive expansion, and support predictable customer renewals.
• Orchestrate and influence cross-functional and partner teams throughout the sales lifecycle, activating co-sell motions, removing blockers, managing risk and handoffs, and coaching others to strengthen sales execution and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or related field AND 6+ years experience in technology-related sales or account management OR equivalent experience.
• Master's Degree in Business Administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, Information Security, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technology-related sales or account management OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or related field AND 12+ years experience in technology-related sales or account management OR equivalent experience.
• 6+ years solution or services sales experience.
• Experience selling enterprise technology solutions and managing complex, large-scale sales opportunities with enterprise customers.
• Experience selling hardware or device solutions, including working with OEMs, manufacturers, channel partners, resellers, or distributors.
• Demonstrated experience navigating complex enterprise sales cycles, with the ability to manage strategic customer relationships and drive high-value opportunities.

Requirements

• Solution Area Specialists IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $142,800 - CAD $214,900 per year.
