[Hiring] VP of External Sales @FUNDVIEW

Role Description

FUNDVIEW is a cloud ERP purpose-built for municipalities (populations roughly 1,000 to 25,000). Our software runs the day-to-day operations of 100s of cities, counties, and special districts - helping them manage their finance, payroll, HR, utility billing, courts, permitting, code enforcement, payments, and reporting functions. This role exists to win new cities, starting immediately, with you carrying deals and to build the outside sales organization that scales it.

Qualifications

• Experience in self-sourced new-logo wins.
• Track record of opening a territory or market from zero.
• Experience hiring and ramping sellers as a first sales leader or player-coach.
• Ability to operate in public-sector buying or a willingness to learn quickly.
• Experience with direct govtech or municipal software is preferred.
• Ability to make complex software understandable to diverse audiences.
• Disciplined in CRM hygiene and written follow-up.
• Devotion to the craft of sales and continuous self-improvement.

Requirements

• Navigate long sales cycles with government entities.
• Experience with RFPs, cooperative purchasing, and city attorney redlines.
• Ability to strategize and adapt to procurement-heavy deals.
