Role Description

The VP, Growth and Sales for Life Sciences, Healthcare and Medical Devices will:

• Create and execute a unified growth strategy across Life Sciences, Healthcare and Medical Devices.
• Build a repeatable new logo engine and originate large, strategic opportunities.
• Help scale an existing combined business of approximately 9 figures multi-million dollar sales quota platform.
• Provide commercial leadership across three established sector businesses.
• Translate deep industry knowledge into board and C suite conversations and complex transformation programs.

Sector priorities

• Life Sciences: Focus on pharma, biotech, CROs, CDMOs, consumer health, and the broader life sciences value chain.
• Medical Devices and MedTech: Support growth with device and diagnostics companies through connected products and software engineering.
• Healthcare: Experience may span payers, providers, pharmacy benefit managers, and HealthTech.

Key responsibilities

• Own the growth agenda.
• Set the commercial strategy, priority markets, target account architecture, and investment choices.
• Win new logos and lead executive access and pursuit strategy for major new clients.
• Shape large deals by converting industry problems into differentiated propositions.
• Build market credibility by representing the organization with senior industry executives.
• Integrate three businesses around a common growth plan.
• Run a rigorous pipeline with clear qualification and forecasting disciplines.
• Develop leadership capacity by coaching senior sales and sector leaders.
• Expand selectively using existing relationships to unlock new programs.

Qualifications

• Approximately 15 or more years of progressive enterprise sales, business leadership, or market development experience.
• Predominantly Life Sciences experience with responsibility for selling into pharmaceutical, biotech, or adjacent life sciences clients.
• Meaningful exposure to Healthcare and Medical Devices.
• A documented record of opening major new logos and building large new revenue streams.
• Experience carrying or influencing a nine-figure portfolio or leading a comparably complex scale up.
• Executive relationships and a relevant network across pharmaceutical, biotech, MedTech, payer, provider, or HealthTech organizations.
