Role Description

Global K9 Protection Group LLC is looking for a dedicated and passionate VP of Sales, Public Safety, & Entertainment to serve as an integral part of the GK9PG Team.

This is a builder’s role, not a territory-maintenance role. You will own new-revenue growth across:

• Sports and entertainment venues
• Law enforcement agencies
• K–12 and higher-education institutions
• Corporate and critical-infrastructure sites
• Large public gatherings within your assigned region

Your job is to convert operational credibility into contracted revenue.

You will report directly to the Chief of Public Safety & Entertainment and work as a founding member of a small, senior, fast-moving commercial team with direct visibility to GK9’s Executive Chairman.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of military service, professional certification, and directly relevant experience.
• Minimum seven years of business-to-business or business-to-government sales experience, with at least three years carrying and achieving an individual new-business quota.
• Demonstrated record of closing complex services agreements with a first-year contract value of $250,000 or greater, evidenced by specific, verifiable deals.
• Direct selling experience in at least one of the following: physical security or guard services, canine detection, public safety technology, sports and entertainment venue services, school safety, or state and local government services.
• Demonstrated experience responding to and winning competitively bid public-sector solicitations.
• Proven ability to operate independently in a remote, high-travel role with minimal day-to-day supervision.
• CRM proficiency and disciplined pipeline hygiene.
• Ability to travel 50–75 percent, including evenings, weekends, and event days.
• Valid driver’s license, insurable driving record, and ability to pass a background investigation, drug screen, and any customer- or airport-required credentialing.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Requirements

• Prior military, federal, or law enforcement service, particularly in a K9, explosive ordnance disposal, force protection, or physical security capacity.
• Existing relationships with venue operators, professional or collegiate athletics operations leaders, law enforcement executives, school district safety officers, or emergency management officials.
• Candidates with established networks in Atlanta, Chicago, the Northeast, Dallas/Houston, or California.
• Familiarity with TSA, DHS, or SAFETY Act frameworks as they apply to venue and event security.
• Experience standing up a new sales territory, vertical, or product line rather than inheriting a mature one.
• Experience selling into grant-funded buyers and advising on funding strategy.
