Role Description

The Territory Sales Representative – Trex® Composite Fencing is responsible for driving market adoption and revenue growth of Trex Composite Fencing within an assigned territory, focusing on:

• Growing share from wood, vinyl, and competing composite fencing products.
• Influencing contractor behavior and building strategic partnerships.
• Positioning Trex as the premium fencing solution of choice.

The ideal candidate will cover OK & TX and will identify, recruit, and activate a committed network of residential fencing contractors who consistently present Trex Composite Fencing alongside wood and vinyl in every customer estimate—positioning Trex on value, performance, and longevity, not just price.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in building materials, construction products, or home improvement.
• Proven success influencing product selection and driving adoption of premium solutions.
• Experience working with contractors, installers, or trade professionals.
• Strong consultative and value-based selling skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage a field-based territory independently.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned market.

Requirements

• Fencing, decking, railing, or exterior building products experience.
• Experience launching or growing a new product category.
• Familiarity with wood, vinyl, aluminum, and composite fencing systems.
