[Hiring] Surgical Robotics Sales Representative @Medtronic

Join our team as a Business Development Surgical Robotic Lead for Jeddah/Riyadh, owning relationships with top hospitals to drive growth, expand Robotic adoption, and deliver high‑impact value solutions. This role puts you at the centre of executive engagement, customer partnership, and meaningful healthcare impact in one of the region’s most critical markets.

A Medtronic Surgical Robotics business developer is responsible for selling the Medtronic Hugo™ Robotic Assisted Surgery System to a selected list of our existing hospitals clients. This requires several talents, including:

• Ability to build a coalition of supporters within each hospital
• Strong client engagement and problem-solving skills
• Energy to navigate long and complex sales cycles
• Natural eagerness and drive to bring opportunities to closure

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Developing and maintaining high-level relationships with strategic partners
• Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities
• Driving appropriate Robotic and digital surgery management strategy
• Collaborating with Strategic account managers to expand and optimize pricing strategy
• Building long-term contractual agreements and relationships with clients
• Communicating and implementing business plans to achieve strategic target business results
• Identifying ongoing mutual opportunities for sales growth with key strategic accounts
• Developing proposals and assessing customer needs to recommend customized solutions
• Achieving individual sales targets and executing sales strategy
• Managing multiple large accounts or large, complex, high visibility accounts
• Engaging with surgeon teams to assess opportunities for expansion of robotic assisted surgery
• Supporting surgical teams in leading hospitals to enhance their clinical strategy
• Convincing surgical teams of the benefits of the Medtronic Hugo™ Surgical Robotic System
• Engaging budget-holders and executives by developing business cases and TCO comparisons

Qualifications

• Proven business acumen with the ability to negotiate complex contract terms
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree, preferably in life sciences or biomedical engineering, and preferably MBA
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in leading Robotic negotiations and selling complex medical devices
• Strong understanding of the healthcare industry in Saudi Arabia and the region
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• High level of financial acumen skills
• Excellent computer literacy including a high level of knowledge of MS Office suite
• Active network in the field of surgery and operating theatres
• Fluent in Arabic and English
