Role Description

As our WA State Manager, you will lead our team to continued growth and success in the greater Perth region. This is a sales-focused role aimed at maintaining and growing retail sales within your territory.

• Share time between department stores, pharmacies, and independent retailers.
• Ensure regular visits to stores for calendar control.
• Maintain existing relationships and develop new ones.
• Ensure in-store displays meet company standards.
• Provide guidance, training, and feedback to beauty & fragrance consultants.
• Liaise with Brand, PR, and VM teams in NSW regarding events, promotions, and brand activities.
• Work alongside the national sales and account management team.
• Recruit, roster, and manage your team of beauty & fragrance consultants.
• Manage budgets for sales and staffing costs.
• Visit retail locations to check and install displays, monitor stock levels, and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Attend events and promotional activities for brands.
• Assist in developing seasonal brand business plans.
• Undertake daily activities to increase sales and exceed targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, VM, Training, PR, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience within retail department stores.
• Experience supervising, training, and developing team members.
• Familiarity with the challenges and opportunities of department store distribution.
• Experience in selling to pharmacies and/or franchises is ideal.
• Strong focus on outcomes and ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Solid understanding of financials and budget management.
• Autonomous, proactive attitude with a "can-do" approach.
• Prior experience within the beauty or fragrance industry is preferred.

Requirements

• Must have a vehicle and be licensed to drive within Australia.
• Willingness to travel throughout greater Perth.
• Ability to work remotely and on-site.
• Permanent full-time availability with some out-of-hours work required.
