[Hiring] Specialist - Direct Sales @Nilfisk

Role Description

The person selected for this region management position will be expected to drive sales for the industrial vacuum portfolio within the assigned territory by building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, end users, and distribution partners. In doing so, this individual will be expected to achieve all annual sales and performance goals. Lastly, the selected individual will report to and work with sales management to accomplish the goals outlined in the region’s annual business plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent education
• A Minimum of 3 years experience in industrial sales or in a related industry
• Must possess a strong work ethic and demonstrate initiative in problem solving
• Must demonstrate maturity as a business professional and necessary business acumen
• Must be able to demonstrate strong selling skills and end-user account management skills
• Must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in MC Office Suite applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook and SalesForce
• Effective time and territory management skills
• Solid problem-solving skills and ability to perform gap analyses
• Willingness to travel overnight as required
• Must be able to transport all company products for demonstrations
• Capable of conducting product seminars and presentations
• Must be able to successfully pass a physical including lifting and standing for prolonged periods

Requirements

• Report all significant activity in the region to sales management in a timely and accurate manner
• Resolve sales issues, product service issues, equipment-related issues in a timely manner
• Travel within the sales region in accordance with an established zone travel schedule
• Maintain a list of the largest end-users in the region
• Integrate daily sales call activities into SFDC calendar
• Make daily sales calls on key end-users to drive new project starts
• Track and manage all new project starts via the Sales Pipeline in SFDC
• Perform building surveys and product demonstrations
• Utilize all sales tools and resources to ensure successful project completion
• Concentrate on displacing competitive machine lines within the Nilfisk distributor
• Communicate product information to all distributors and end user accounts
• Coordinate sales efforts with Strategic Account Managers
• Perform field tests in support of product management teams
• Forge long-lasting, profitable relationships with distribution partners, strategic accounts, and large end-user buying accounts
