Role Description
As a Solution Sales Manager β Further Processing DACH, you will drive sales growth across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland by identifying new opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and delivering value-driven processing solutions tailored to customer needs. You will act as a trusted advisor to food processors, helping them optimize production processes, improve operational performance, and achieve their business objectives through innovative Further Processing technologies.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the sales strategy for Further Processing solutions across the DACH region.

Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective customer accounts.

Build long-term relationships with food processors, key stakeholders, engineering teams, and decision-makers.

Understand customer production processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, yield, quality, and profitability.

Lead complex solution-selling opportunities from initial customer engagement through proposal development, negotiation, and successful closure.

Collaborate closely with Application Specialists, Engineering, Sales, Service, and Project Management teams to develop integrated solutions.

Deliver customer presentations, technical discussions, equipment demonstrations, quotations, and value-based business cases.

Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasting process, and opportunity management within CRM systems.

Monitor market developments, industry trends, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities.

Represent JBT Marel at trade shows, customer events, demonstrations, and industry conferences.

Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers make informed investment decisions aligned with their strategic objectives.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum 3 years of successful B2B sales experience within food processing equipment, industrial solutions, capital equipment, or related industries.

Proven track record selling complex technical solutions and managing longer sales cycles.

Experience working with food manufacturing customers, preferably within protein processing or prepared foods.

Strong knowledge of consultative and value-based selling methodologies.

Experience working within an international and matrix organization.

Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

Travel
