Role Description

As Distribution Sales Manager, you'll join a powerhouse multi-country team of sales leaders and field application engineers, reporting directly to the VP EMEA IC Sales.

• Own $30M+ in distribution revenue — full quota accountability, full strategic control over how you grow it.
• Run 3–4 strategic distribution partnerships like multi-million dollar accounts.
• Drive performance through sharp, data-backed QBRs and scorecards.
• Build distributor capability that compounds over time — training, coaching, and influencing partner hiring and investment decisions.
• See around corners — surface market shifts 12–18 months before competitors.
• Forecast like it's a craft — deliver >90% accuracy through disciplined pipeline and backlog management.
• Negotiate with confidence — resolve complex commission structures and territory conflicts.
• Rally the team around you — pull in FAEs, product management, and marketing to chase down big opportunities.
• Travel: 30–40%, primarily within Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 7+ years in distribution management or channel sales within semiconductor/technology industries.
• Experience managing $30M+ in distribution revenue with >90% forecast accuracy and >110% quota attainment.
• Established distributor relationships.
• A track record of navigating multi-stakeholder channel conflicts.

Requirements

• Technical degree or MBA.
• 10+ years in semiconductor distribution management.
• Experience managing $50M+ in revenue at >105% quota.
• Experience spanning multi-country European territories.
• Business fluency in English, plus German, French, or Italian.
• Executive presence that earns trust with distributor C-suite and Semtech leadership.
