[Hiring] Senior Strategic Presales Business Manager @Motorola Solutions

Role Description

The Strategic Presales Business Manager (EPS) provides total presales solution ownership as the overall presale team business leader and manages the overall project business for his/her assigned projects. In this role, Pre-sale PM holds accountability for:

• Development of the implementation approach and service plan necessary to win the project
• Meet/exceeding customer requirements and provide value alternatives when requirements cannot be met
• Manage to Motorola’s sales, revenue and margin goals
• Drive all sole source & RFP (Request for Proposal) projects to completion managing the schedules of each project team member (engineering, proposal specialist, sales, and service)
• Coordinate with the various functional teams (Systems Integration, Service, Sales, Product Groups) to ensure all of business units goals are addressed in our proposals and win-strategies
• Develop overall implementation approach, service strategy and proposal plan
• Manage the development and implementation of the entire presale process focused on delivering accurate and timely proposals
• Issue RFQs (Request for Quote) for third-party content and negotiate for best cost-benefit to Motorola Solutions
• Develop and Drive consistent Systems Integration & Services strategy for all proposals
• Manage cross-functional teams and monitor progress of all proposal
• Integral participant of the Core Team proposal review, responsible for reviewing the proposal cover-to-cover
• Participate in Contract negotiations as subject matter & proposal experts
• Develop and Implement the show pricing plan with Sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of experience in sales, sales engineering, project management, business operations, military and/or public safety
• OR 8+ years of experience in sales, sales engineering, project management, business operations, military and/or public safety
• Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
• Comfortable presenting to internal and external audiences
• Take ownership of projects to drive multiple people to meet project deadlines
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Willingness to think out of the box and challenge the status quo
• Attention to detail and a flawless execution mindset

Requirements

• Travel: Up to 25% for business needs
• Preferred candidates will reside in Texas, California, Illinois, or Colorado
