Role Description
The Aerospace & Defense (A&D) Senior Strategic Account Manager will report directly to the Director β Strategic/Emerging Accounts β A&D. This position will have a lead role in driving New Business for the A&D sector, including the Integrated Electronics (IE) and Interconnect Solutions (IS) business units. The role involves:

Identifying, developing, and capturing new business consistent with the A&D Sector strategy.

Engaging with key strategic/emerging accounts.

Leveraging market, customer, and product specific subject matter expertise.

Driving critical growth initiatives with a direct impact on the company's success.

Traveling 50% of the time, primarily across North America and to UK/Europe as necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities

Primary point of contact for all assigned Strategic/Emerging Account capture activities.

Establish and maintain strategic relationships with all critical/strategic programs across various BUs.

Proactively engage with program managers, engineers, and technical staff to understand mission requirements, technology roadmaps, and emerging capability gaps 18-48 months before formal solicitations.

Develop a strong pipeline of Strategic/Emerging Account opportunities aligned with sector strategy, documenting all opportunities in CRM.

Manage all critical opportunities through the complete capture lifecycle: qualification β shaping β capture β proposal β award.

Lead capture efforts for Strategic/Emerging Account opportunities, developing and executing winning strategies.

Work with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Pricing Teams to architect solutions that meet/exceed Customer specifications.

Serve as the voice of the customer for all assigned Strategic/Emerging Accounts internally.

Develop and maintain relationships with Customer program management and engineering staff.

Engage assigned Strategic/Emerging customers proactively to shape requirements before RFP release.

Apply structured capture methodologies (Phase Gate) to ensure disciplined pursuit decisions.

Coordinate closely with Director β Strategic Accounts β A&D and Business Development Team.
Qualifications

Demonstrated success working in complex, matrixed organizational structures.

Demonstrated ability to influence requirements and acquisition strategies through strategic engagement.

Deep experience and relationships in the A&D electronics ecosystem with focus on Primeβs requirements.

Demonstrated ability to build, develop and maintain relationships with leading A&D customers.

Strong understanding of PCB/Microelectronics industry, RF/MW products, Mission Systems, and design-to-specification solution selling.

Ability to rapidly gain a strong understanding of TTMβs existing products/capabilities & competitors.
-
Demonstrated ability to identify and assess new business opportunities and develop effective capture strategies.
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills.

Effective team leader with ability to collaborate across organizational and functional boundaries.
-
Strong understanding of content management systems and tools supporting capture and proposal development.
-
Clear and established track record of new business wins, including recent and relevant awards greater than $20M.
Requirements

Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management, Engineering or related field; MBA is preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of applicable industry experience and business development experience preferred; A&D industry experience required.
