[Hiring] Senior Sales Engineer @Fusion Connect

Role Description

Client-focused individual with both a technical and sales background to support multiple sales channels. This individual should have a customer-focused, solution-oriented mentality to ensure that the customer requirements are addressed to the goal of closing opportunities. The position requires an in-depth understanding of the following categories:

• Microsoft ecosystem
• Networking
• Security
• Telephony knowledge

Specializing in the following skills, but not limited to:

• Microsoft Teams
• Operator Connect and CSP Licensing
• NGFW
• SD-WAN
• POTS
• Fax
• Dedicated Internet Access & Broadband
• Wireless (WiFi)
• SASE/SSE
• Voice over IP (VoIP) knowledge in UCaaS, CCaaS, Hosted VoIP and SIP Trunking environments

Additional knowledge in other Cloud-based products and services is a definite plus in consideration for this position. Understanding various compliance standards like HIPAA, PCI, CPNI, and general Internet specifications, and security/firewall policies are also a plus in consideration for this position.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of Networking and Network Security technologies
• Strong technical knowledge of UCaaS and CCaaS services
• Good technical knowledge in legacy VoIP, POTS and Fax technologies
• Strong knowledge in the Microsoft Ecosystem
• Good understanding of SASE / SSE services
• Ability to work independently, while demonstrating sound prioritization and judgment skills based on the business needs
• Self-directed, strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to partner with Engineering, Product and Sales functions alike
• Ability to manage and/or influence project members to drive completion of deliverables on time and within scope against an aggressive timeline

Requirements

• Five (5) or more years’ experience in Sales Engineering, Network/Voice Engineering, or Technical Sales
• Experience with NGFW and SDWAN deployments across various locations
• Dedicated Internet Access and Broadband connectivity
• Network Switches, Routers, and Firewalls
• Experience & Certifications with Fortinet, VeloCloud, and Meraki is preferred
• Experience with MS Teams, Cisco Webex and TalkDesk is preferred
• Experience in Omni-Channel service delivery and in deploying Communication and Collaboration technologies
• Experience with MS Office 365 CSP Licensing, Operator Connect, Direct Routing, and MS Teams
• Experience in deploying Access Control, SWGs, CASB, and ZTNA
