[Hiring] Senior Sales Engineer @Bigeye

Role Description

As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will be part of the Sales team at Bigeye, working alongside Bigeye’s Co-Founder/Field CTO and led by Bigeye’s VP of Sales. You will:

• Help prospects and customers advance AI adoption and data-driven culture by driving concrete business outcomes.
• Trailblaze a rapidly emerging market by evangelizing the value, ease of use, and speed of Bigeye.
• Guide prospects from demos to proof of concepts (POCs) to production, helping them build comprehensive data and AI governance practices and delivering real value throughout.
• Design and implement industry-specific demonstrations and POCs that create repeatable and concrete outcomes for prospective customers.
• Assess the economic benefits of Bigeye and gain consensus among stakeholders across the business.
• Attend conferences, seminars, and events related to the industry to keep our market awareness sharp.
• Collect and share product feedback across the Bigeye Product and Engineering team.
• Reply to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Teach and showcase Bigeye for prospects, partners, and customers using customer success stories and other assets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B SaaS Sales Engineering experience (level determined based on experience).
• Working knowledge of Python, with comfort reading and debugging scripts and AI pipeline code.
• Ability to use AI tools to help accelerate building one-off demos and solutions, such as Claude Code, Cortex Code, Codex, etc.
• Working understanding of how AI agents are built and deployed in enterprise environments.
• Ability to speak credibly to AI governance and data trust concepts with both technical practitioners and business stakeholders.
• Desire to solve a problem once and then automate it.

Requirements

• Experience with cloud data warehouses or lakes, such as Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Synapse, and Google BigQuery.
• Comprehension of on-prem and major cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with the agentic AI landscape and enterprise tools teams are deploying.
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks or emerging regulations and the ability to connect those requirements to Bigeye’s platform capabilities.
• Experience selling into or supporting data governance, data quality, or AI/ML platform deals in financial services, insurance, healthcare, or enterprise technology verticals.
