Role Description
At Medtronic, you'll play a critical role in advancing the future of structural heart care. The CoreValve Senior Principal Therapy Consultant achieves sales revenue targets and grows market share for a specified geography by promoting, selling, and servicing Medtronic CoreValve and related products, post approval, while ensuring safe adoption and growth.

Drive territory growth by developing and executing account strategies to achieve or exceed sales goals.

Provide clinical and technical expertise by serving as a trusted TAVR subject matter expert.

Cultivate market and product leadership by maintaining deep knowledge of CoreValve, TAVR therapies, and industry trends.

Provide expert clinical and technical support for TAVR procedures.

Partner with customers to drive procedural success through education and training programs.

Manage territory operations and account support by coordinating case coverage and maintaining account records.

Advance product and market expertise by maintaining deep knowledge of TAVR technologies and providing market intelligence.

Collaborate across the organization by supporting new hire training and reporting product quality concerns.

Perform job duties that require extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.

Operate safely in clinical environments that may require the use of personal protective equipment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 12+ years of experience, OR
-
Associate's degree and 10+ years of experience, OR
-
Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience in sales, clinical, or related roles within medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
Requirements
-
Demonstrated success in previous sales role.

8+ years in sales with 6+ years in Cath Lab Sales/Medical Capital Equipment/Surgical Sales.

Exceptional business and clinical acumen with prior experience leading a sophisticated cardiac or endovascular procedure.

Exceptional understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.

Interventional cardiac or vascular experience (wires, balloons, catheters, stents).

Previous experience communicating productβs market advantages to physicians and hospital administration.

Experience calling on C-Suite customers.
-
Prior experience teaching and educating medical personnel, peers, and technical support personnel.
-
Imaging interpretation experience (TTE or TEE, CT, Angiograms).

Computer proficiency and ability to perform CT reconstruction with CT programs.
