This Sr. National Account Manager is a fully remote position supporting our Life and LTC clients predominately in the Eastern and Central part of the country. Living in either the EST or CST time zone is strongly preferred. This role will require approximately 50% travel.

This is an H.99 band role.

As a National Account Manager, you'll build and cultivate relationships with leaders and associates at all levels across the spectrum at designated focus firms. You will collaborate with key Nationwide Financial (NF) leaders and develop strategic plans and tactical initiatives that advance Nationwide Financial as the partner of choice in select firms. We'll count on you to expand our relationships by uncovering opportunities for growth, creating the appropriate connections with client firms, gaining specific insights and access for NF sales teams and working to ensure the team is focused on the highest priority opportunities.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in sales, marketing or related field preferred.
• NASD Series 6, 63, and state life, accident, and health licenses required.
• Series 26 licensing, and financial services designations (i.e., CFP, ChFC, CRC and CRA) preferred, dependent on business unit.
• Eight to 10 years of experience in sales, sales management, markets or relationship management in the insurance or financial services fields.
• Experience with wholesale distribution of financial services products preferred.

• Strong social skills, sophisticated relationship development and organizational navigation skills.
• Excellent verbal presentation, written communication skills and facilitation skills.
• Ability to lead large and complex projects and influence without authority to achieve results.
• Highly adept at creative problem-solving, having difficult conversations and negotiating to find the best alternative to address the client and NF’s needs.
