Role Description

Domino's Solutions team is the customer-facing engine behind how leading enterprises build, scale, and govern AI-powered applications - solving real business challenges, not just deploying technology. Solutions Engineering earns technical credibility before the deal closes. Customer Engineering, where this role lives, owns everything after: adoption, implementation, expansion, and the kind of delivery that makes customers renew and grow. Global Support and SRE keeps it all running at the level enterprise customers depend on.

• Own pre-sales as a function, not a set of individual deals.
• Set and enforce the standards for how opportunities get qualified, how POCs get scoped, and how SEs engage.
• Be the check on the sales process, pushing back on deals, scopes, or timelines when necessary.
• Coach and develop the SE team with specific feedback on technical approach and deal strategy.
• Bring enough technical fluency to ask hard questions before the customer or SE gets there.
• Partner as a peer with GVPs and account teams, shaping how enterprise deals are qualified and run.
• Build the operating rhythm for pre-sales, including capacity allocation and opportunity prioritization.
• Recruit and build the bench, identifying gaps and hiring against them.
• Be a discerning voice on deal quality, providing recommendations on deal worthiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise, solution-selling pre-sales or sales engineering, with direct experience on complex $5M+ deals.
• People leadership experience is required, with a track record of building, coaching, and managing a technical or pre-sales team.
• An operational builder at heart, defining processes and holding people accountable.
• Presence that holds up in the room, able to stand toe-to-toe with GVPs or enterprise sellers.
• Technically conversant, understanding AI/ML delivery without being the most technical person in the room.
• Sharp, discerning judgment on opportunity quality, evaluating qualification, technical fit, and deal health critically.
• No vertical expertise required; operational and sales rigor is key.
• Comfortable with travel and heavy customer-facing time; East Coast location preferred.
