Role Description
The Senior Director, EMEA PC Consumer Channel Sales will be responsible for managing and growing revenue through engagement with retailers, distributors, and fellow-travelers in the EMEA PC ecosystem. This person will lead multiple teams (managing managers), work closely with colleagues around the world, and be responsible for creating and executing the regional strategy to accelerate sales of and awareness, preference, and demand for PCs powered by Qualcomm products and technologies across the Europe and MEA Regions.

Build and manage relationships with key consumer channel partner stakeholders at all levels in the EMEA region.

Interface with retailers, distributors, and fellow travelers such as Microsoft, engaging from CXO through to operational level.

Help OEMs and OEM sales teams accelerate sales of PCs powered by Qualcomm products.

Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams in Qualcomm’s global HQ.

Coordinate Go-To-Market strategies with OEM sales leaders and other supporting groups in the Europe and MEA Regions.
Qualifications

10+ years of sales, product management, or business development of complex technology products in compute businesses.

Knowledge of global dynamics of OEMs, channels, and markets.

Experience in selling PC systems through the EMEA consumer channels, especially retail/etail.

Understanding of technically complex products and experience on how to position these to a broad audience.

Proficient and detailed understanding of supply chain, product development, and marketing of compute products such as notebooks, desktops, tablets, and mobile.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and engage from one-on-one interactions to large group settings.

Creative problem solving with strong analytical skills.

Self-motivated and result-driven.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or related business field.

10+ years in sales, business development, product management, or related work experience.

3+ years in a leadership role.
Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in business or technology preferred.

15+ years in product marketing, sales, or product management in the PC industry.

8+ years in a leadership role.
