[Hiring] Sales Specialist Mass Spectrometry @Agilent Technologies

Role Description

In this Product Specialist sales role, you will be responsible for driving Agilent Technologies' high-performance Mass Spectrometry (MS) systems and solutions into commercial, government and academic institutions in the Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. areas.

• Work both independently and in a team with Account Managers and Application Engineers.
• Carry quota and be compensated for all high-performance LC/MS and GC/MS sales in the specified geography.
• Create and develop MS opportunities, as well as successful strategies and tactics to sell complex MS-based solutions.
• Be part of an elite team of specialists driving Agilent's success in this competitive marketplace.

Candidate must live in the Virginia, Maryland, or Washington D.C. area.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master's Degree or University Degree equivalent within Biology, Chemistry, BioChemistry, or Molecular Biology, or a Science related field.
• 2+ years experience in industry, academia, government or sales.
• Experience with pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical workflows preferred.
• Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Mass Spectrometry and its applications and workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a team in a complex matrix environment.

Requirements

• This job has a full time weekly schedule.

• The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $117,000.00 - $208,650.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits.
