[Hiring] Sales Specialist HPC/AI Products @HPE

Role Description

HPE is seeking a Sales Specialist to sell our HPC (High Performance Computing) and AI Infrastructure products, services, and software solutions to prospective customers in the Southeastern United States. This will require travel to external customer sites within Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and South Carolina.

This person will collaborate with and support Account Managers and provide specialist expertise within the sales team. Drives proactive campaigns to build the pipeline, uses specialized knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities. May have named accounts allocated, covering a designated geography. The HPC and AI Sales Specialist will be tasked with growing this territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• MBA or advanced degree is a benefit
• 5+ years of enterprise technology sales experience
• 3+ years of HPC and AI sales experience
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
• Experience managing complex sales cycles and executive relationships

Requirements

• Build and maintain a long-term sales pipeline
• Identify and develop net-new opportunities
• Expand existing customer relationships
• Increase HPE market share within HPC and AI solutions
• Establish trusted advisor relationships with executives and technical stakeholders
• Engage CIOs, CTOs, AI leaders, researchers, and business decision-makers
• Understand customer business objectives and align HPE solutions accordingly
• Position and sell complex HPC and AI infrastructure solutions
• Develop business cases and value propositions
• Lead opportunity qualification, negotiations, and deal closure
• Partner with Account Managers and solution teams
• Support strategic account planning and execution
• Help integrate hardware, software, and services into comprehensive customer solutions
• Maintain expertise in HPC, AI infrastructure, Enterprise IT, competitive solutions, and industry trends
• Create customer references and success stories
