Role Description

The Sales Representative is responsible for handling sales calls and/or chats, engaging with customers to identify their needs and assist in retention efforts. This position will also be responsible for maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of our products and services, and providing excellent customer service to potential customers.

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat
• Provide accurate information about products and services to customers
• Negotiate and close sales deals over the phone, email, or chat
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services
• Assist with customer retention efforts
• Transfer non-sales related calls to the appropriate teams
• Maintain accurate documentation of all customer interactions in CRM system
• Continuously improve knowledge of products, services, and processes by participating in training programs and continuous learning modules
• Collaborate with other departments as needed to resolve customer issues
• Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues at all times
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Meet or exceed performance targets for related KPIs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in an inbound or outbound sales role or equivalent, preferably in the call center environment
• Experience in outbound sales preferred
• Experience supporting customers via phone, chat, and email preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong negotiation and sales skills
• Proficient in using computers and various software applications such as CRM
