Role Description
The Sales Planner is responsible for developing seasonal sales, inventory, and receipt plans that align with assigned account financial targets and productivity metrics. Key responsibilities include:

Develop seasonal sales, inventory, and receipt plans by Classification.

Build and maintain a rolling 18-month style-color sales, inventory, receipt, and shipment plan for each area of business.

Work autonomously with the account executive, replenishment managers, and assigned account buyers and planners.

Leverage weekly business insights to understand item-level performance.
-
Analyze sales trends and adjust based on historical results and current POS performance.
-
Prepare documents for monthly consensus meetings, providing analysis and explanations of recommended changes.

Lead presentations and influence alignment among peers within merchandising, sales, and supply planning teams.

Participate in regular meetings and strategic discussions on merchandise planning strategies.

Perform standard and ad hoc reporting and administrative duties.
Qualifications
-
3-5 years of experience in a retail or wholesale environment, including time as an analyst or planner.

Related work experience may include Forecasting & Demand Planning.

Bachelorβs Degree.

Demonstrated retail math and business acumen, including sales forecasting and inventory productivity measures.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Capable of creating alignment among cross-functional stakeholders.

Attention to detail and strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Advanced proficiency in Excel.
-
Knowledge of PowerBI & Logility RO Planning Applications is a plus.
