Role Description
As our GSO β Sales Operations Analyst (m/f/d), you turn complex sales and revenue data into clear, actionable insights that support decision-making across PTV Logistics. As a trusted business partner to Sales Leadership, you go beyond reporting: you challenge assumptions with data, uncover root causes, and proactively identify risks, opportunities, and improvement potential.
-
You design, develop, and continuously improve standardized sales reports and dashboards covering key metrics such as ACV, ARR, NRR, pipeline, bookings, churn, and sales productivity.
-
You monitor sales performance, identify underlying drivers and root causes, and translate findings into practical recommendations for sales leadership and other stakeholders.
-
You proactively flag performance risks, process inefficiencies, and data quality issues before they impact the business, and drive follow-up actions with stakeholders until sustainable solutions are in place.
-
You prepare, validate, and govern sales commission and bonus calculations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and consistency in close alignment with Finance and HR.
-
You partner with Finance on forecasting inputs and models, reconcile relevant revenue metrics, and conduct scenario analyses to support commercial planning and investment decisions.
-
You establish consistent KPI definitions across regions and teams, maintain clear data dictionaries and documentation of reporting logic, and support data quality through checks and alerts.
-
You deliver ad-hoc analyses and business cases for sales initiatives and strategic projects, and present insights in leadership meetings in a concise, executive-ready way.
-
You drive the continuous improvement of sales processes and use automation and AI tools to reduce manual effort and make reporting and analytics more efficient and scalable.
-
You collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, Finance, HR, RevOps, and IT/Data teams to provide visibility across the Lead-to-Cash process, including customer retention, utilization, revenue, and margins.
Qualifications
-
You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills and hands-on experience building reports and dashboards with business intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.
-
You have strong Excel skills and enjoy working with large datasets; experience with SQL or comparable query languages is a plus.
-
You understand SaaS business models and commercial metrics, including ACV, ARR, NRR, pipeline, bookings, and churn, and have knowledge of CRM systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics) and commercial business processes.
-
You can explain complex analyses clearly to non-technical audiences and translate data into meaningful, actionable business recommendations.
-
You are curious and proactive: you investigate problems beyond the initial request, identify opportunities and risks independently, and have the confidence to challenge assumptions with data.
-
You take ownership of outcomes, work independently, and combine high attention to detail with pragmatic prioritization and a structured, reliable way of working.
-
You have a strong interest in AI-powered tools and automation and a growth mindset when it comes to learning new tools, technologies, and business processes.
-
You collaborate effectively with technical teams and commercial stakeholders, and are comfortable working across functions to improve reporting, forecasting, and data quality.
-
