[Hiring] Sales Manager @ISR Recruitment

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven Sales Manager to grow our client’s presence across the DACH region, selling industry-leading technologies for smarter roads and connected cities. You will develop new business across advanced traffic management, tolling and intelligent roadside solutions, helping customers understand the value of cloud-based systems, software platforms and connected hardware. This role suits a consultative sales professional who can build a strong regional pipeline and turn complex customer requirements into long-term contracts. Regular international travel is expected multiple times each week.

• Develop and execute a sales plan for Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland, identifying priority accounts and opportunities for growth.
• Generate new business through relationships with transport authorities, systems integrators, consultants and industry partners.
• Present traffic management, tolling, back-office and vehicle identification solutions, explaining how software, cloud-based systems and roadside hardware support customer needs.
• Develop opportunities for SaaS and multi-year software and hardware service agreements, drawing on technical specialists to shape proposals.
• Manage the full sales cycle from discovery and qualification through competitive tendering or sole-source procurement to contract award.
• Lead and support major bids, coordinating technical, commercial, proposal and delivery teams.
• Maintain a strong pipeline, convert qualified opportunities into revenue and work towards agreed sales targets.
• Feed customer requirements into product discussions and coordinate clear handovers into operations following contract award.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a sales territory, developing customer relationships and securing new business.
• A consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales targets through a consultative approach.
• An understanding of traffic management, tolling, back-office software, vehicle identification or roadside systems; relevant transferable experience will be considered.
• Proven experience developing and closing SaaS deals or multi-year software and hardware service contracts is desirable.
• The ability to explain the commercial and operational value of software and cloud-based solutions to technical and business audiences.
• Experience interpreting formal procurement requirements and developing effective bid strategies with internal teams and partners.
• Strong presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills across complex sales opportunities.
• Experience working in international or multicultural environments would be an advantage.
